Rex "TW" McMurtry struggles with his perpetual single status as his ex-girlfriends quickly marry after dating him, often tying the knot with his closest friends. Despite being a successful pro-football defensive end for the Chicago Squalls, he finds himself constantly in the spotlight for being a groomsman rather than a groom. Frustrated with his role as the best man at their weddings, Rex grapples with feelings of inadequacy and the pressure of societal expectations surrounding love and relationships.
