Destination Cape Horn

Set against the backdrop of post-war Scotland, the narrative follows George's journey from a childhood in an old hospital to his adventurous spirit that leads him to Australia. Initially training as an apprentice at Ferranti, he soon seeks a life beyond factory walls. Inspired by sailing in Sydney, he acquires a yacht, 'Dorado', and embarks on thrilling voyages, culminating in a daring attempt to navigate the Southern Ocean. His journey takes a dramatic turn when 'Dorado' is shipwrecked at Cape Horn, testing his resilience and survival against the odds.
