A Boy Growing Up Different

The narrative follows Roger, who grapples with the emotional fallout from his parents' divorce and the trauma of family violence. Isolated in his room, he finds solace in writing short stories. As he transitions into adulthood, a move to the United States presents a conflict, leading him to remain in Canada where he embraces his identity, finds love, and builds friendships. However, the shadows of his past eventually resurface, challenging his newfound happiness and forcing him to confront his depression and unresolved childhood issues.
