It highlights the significance of preserving meniscus function for effective knee stabilization and force transmission. The study reports that 80-90% of patients experienced good to excellent results post-resection, with an 85% positive ARPEGE score and 57.5% of patients feeling their knee was normal or nearly normal at follow-up. The findings emphasize the importance of careful surgical approaches to ensure optimal recovery.
