Pineland Serenade

In a small Minnesota town, the mysterious disappearance of wealthy resident Peter Swindell and the destruction of his mansion ignite a series of unsettling events. As threatening messages from a figure known as the Serenader circulate, newly elected county attorney Paul Zweifel, a sharp-witted loner accompanied by his existential border collie, finds himself embroiled in a web of murder and secrets. With local law enforcement seemingly compromised, Zweifel must navigate a treacherous path to uncover the truth, culminating in a chilling confrontation.
