Focusing on the ecological significance of riparian forests, this work explores the unique gallery forest within the Botanical Garden of Sancti Spíritus in Cuba. Spanning 1800 meters, this natural area plays a crucial role in biodiversity and ecological services. The study employs floristic and physiognomic methods, including an 800-meter linear transect and five random plots, to analyze the flora and vegetation. Findings highlight the vital contribution of this forest area to the overall ecological stability of the garden.
