Paul D. Leverentz is a carpenter by trade and a first-time author. He started writing short stories to his granddaughter to stay connected during the pandemic lockdown of 2020-2021. It was during the events of that time that he began to consider how to discuss a topic that was serious, and perhaps overwhelming for a child without jeopardizing or stealing their innocence. He hopes to empower young girls to study math and science in order to reach their full potential. So come along as Kalea and her team take you on an adventure across the universe. Here they use math, science, and vocabulary to help the inhabitants of a distant world save their planet.
