The Acorn, a federation spaceship is commissioned to take a group of Pilgrims to an uninhabited planet that they will be settling on. The crew is nervous about this mission, because this group believe in a god that was proven long ago to be a myth. They know that those of the Christian faith are highly skilled in brainwashing and will use everything at their disposal to turn others to their side. Commander Adam Forester knows one of them, and has for a long time wanted to pull her out of this group. So, he makes it his mission to turn her, bring her out of the dark side and find the truth. He enlists the help of his friends and comrades.
