Blooming Through The Darkness is a poetry and prose book that is based on my own lived experiences. I used writing to help me at a time of my life where I was struggling mentally and emotionally. Each chapter of the book represents a theme that can be relatable for everyone depending on their own experiences. This book will explore dealing with the death of a loved one, depression, anxiety, falling in love, letting go and finding peace, healing, growing, acceptance, hardships in relationships, losing friends, racial issues and believing in yourself just to name some. This collection was made during the most vulnerable stages of my life thus far and I hope that it connects with people and gives comfort to whomever can relate.
