While Ezeka Franklin's poetry collection expresses internal ill feelings, physical pains and possible extinction of the victim, it ultimately rises above the pains and brokenness to finding true-self, eternal happiness, growing in strength, development of a capacity to heal, it also presents an opportunity for the victim to leave the broken past to become hopeful in life again.
