More about the book

This piece is of a world dictated by a power system of those with virtues and those without. Those with power are the actual elites of society, the blessed are nobles and royalty, filling the empire that controls its people. However, the unblessed, those without virtues, are not entirely powerless. The plot revolves around Miss Asfier, an enigma of a woman who is the catalyst to the development of several characters. The main purpose of the book is to not only describe and depict the innate horrors of a human mind but differentiate between those with true power and those without. The parallels between modern society is insightfully written to emphasize the audience's morality towards each character and event. The book is to describe the reader's placement and reaction to an extreme society that mirrors ours. What makes us valuable? Or rather, what's valuable to us?
