Children often endure silently the effects of decisions made by adults, at times when change and uncertainty have become the new normal, and we get lost in the urgency of daily routines. Feelings are generally downplayed and not processed. This is the story of Gaia, a little girl that moves away from the only home she ever knew. She feels disoriented in her new place. She shares her longings with her plushie confidant, Mr. Raccoon. Through their dialogue and his wisdom, he teaches her to dance her sorrows away, she opens to the adventures and embraces the possibilities ahead. She realizes those whom we love are always close to us while learning to accept life events and changes and the wonderful world awaiting outside her window.
