Rick Burt is a retired chemical engineer living in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was born into a large family with seven siblings, but was soon separated, adopted, and raised as an only child in Racine, Wisconsin. Much of the family information presented in this memoir was learned by Rick from his sisters only after he retired and re-connected with them.
