Logan Stewart was a pseudonym of author Les Savage Jr., who wrote nearly a hundred short stories and two-dozen novels under his own name and various pseudonyms. His novels Black Horse Canyon (aka The Wild Horse ) and Return to Warbow became movies and several of his stories were adapted for the television anthologies Zane Grey Theatre and Schlitz Playhouse.
