This book is a reflection and reminder of how we all can achieve through it all. If it can happen for me it can happen for you. I wanted to share a little of my personal life with you, the good and the bad. How my parents taught me how to overcome obstacles and hurdles. As a little Black girl from Alabama, how I found my way with determination and learned wisdom, along with my faith in God. All of these lessons, helped me to keep pushing on. I had to open doors and move barriers in fashion and the design world. I found my way out of the darkness. You can do the same if you push ahead and never quit. The world is waiting for you to be all that you were created to be. Designing in the Dark is a dream come true. Come and take a journey with me.
