The busy world that we live in today has caused us to neglect so many things in our lives. We strive to make a living, to get something going so that we can become fortunate in life. Our society has helped create a pattern for our lives. The average person is expected to go to school, get a job, and eventually get married, after which they become busy with creating a comfortable family life.We are so busy with our daily routine that we fail to set aside time for ourselves, and when we finally do have that time, many of us don't know what to make out of it.In the midst of all of this, we find out that there are certain things that we can't explain, like how we act and think the way we do. Many of us don't have an explanation for our actions or our response toward people and the environment around us. Although we are conscious of the fact that, in a way, we own ourselves, many of us still feel that we have no control over our actions and emotions. Hence, we constantly find ourselves in unclear paths or situations.If we really want to stay on a clear path and keep our actions and emotions in check, then self-control is essential. However, you have to understand that true self-control starts from self-awareness.
