Easy Bird is an autobiographical account of Bradley Peterson's conviction and prison sentence. Life in prison is not rife with gangster violence and mentally unstable individuals as depicted in over-dramatised novels and TV series. Bradley's account describes the reality of the criminal justice system and his transitioning from Prison Category B to D. It shows how he manoeuvres the prison rules to work in his favour and what measures can be taken to make the prison sentence as short and comfortable as possible to do an ‘Easy Bird'.
