A young woman leaves Brazil behind to venture into the land of the American dream in this story filled with discovery, love, art, and freedom. Clara decides to get her master's degree in the United States, moving, in her early twenties, to the iconic New York City. There she faces the inevitable loneliness of being an immigrant, torn between the fascination for the discoveries of that new world and the longing for her beloved home country. On a day of particular anguish, the young woman decides to express herself through art and, in an unpretentious act, she publishes one of her drawings on the internet. What she didn't know is that the post would draw the attention of a stranger who would impact her entire journey. At the same time, she has to adapt to this new life and deal with college, work, friendship, and a new love.
