Excerpt from Captain Cader Edwards An account of the life and public services of Captain Cader Edwards, a native of Wales and a soldier of the American Revolution, who died in the Holston Settlements, in what is now Sullivan County, Tennessee, in the month of March, 1782, with some mention of his numerous descendants as far as known to the writer hereof.
