More about the book

David Wilson’s latest book explores two New Testament epistles written by the Apostle Paul for early churches. The first letter is addressed to Titus, a companion of Paul known only from biblical texts. Titus joined Paul in Jerusalem during his fourteenth year of conversion and assisted in spreading the gospel alongside Paul and Barnabas. The second letter is to Philemon, a wealthy Christian in Colossae, who owned Onesimus, a runaway slave. After fleeing, Onesimus encountered Paul and converted to Christianity. Paul, adhering to Roman law, felt it necessary to return Onesimus to Philemon, despite the emotional toll it took on him. Wilson presents these narratives in a way that encourages readers to reflect on their own lives. The stories of Titus and Philemon are not just historical accounts; they challenge and inspire personal renewal and a deeper connection to the truths in the Word of God. David Wilson, a Spirit-filled minister with over 45 years in the Pentecostal movement, serves on the General Board of Directors of the International Full Gospel Evangelistic Association and is Senior Presbyter of the N. Texas District. He resides on 40 acres near Paradise, Texas, and emphasizes the importance of the King James Bible.
