There are plenty of information in this study to inspire us to think deeply about marriage as a sacrament. The sublime vision of marriage often meets with much disbelief and resistance. Universal experience reveals that marriage is wrought with difficulties. However, God is a union and communion of fruitful self-giving love. So, too, as human persons made in the image and likeness of God, we are called to live in a union and communion of fruitful, self-giving love. Husband and wife, must nourish their love at the source of love and the fountain of grace. Marriage is a Sacrament; where God Himself is the author, and John Paul II helps us to understand that the spiritual dimensions of this sacrament are essential to a complete(comprehensive) understanding of marriage.
