Robey leaves a devastated life behind in pursuit of some peace from her painful memories. She heads to Knobbe Cove where she's sure she will be welcomed with open arms by her dear child­hood friend, Amelia. Discovering that life has been equally unkind to Amelia, she resolves to try and make a fresh start for herself in this small, cozy town. She finds a job and a place to stay with the engaging pastor of a beautiful old church. While she begins to find comfort and a sense of belonging in this quaint community, she soon discovers that her new beginning is plagued by old demons not her own. It seems that every place has ghosts and dangers with which to contend.
