Cerby Llewelyn and main squeeze RCMP Detective Inspector Aidan Halifax, have spent the last year settling into their new, shared the 200-acre Maple Crest heritage farm in Vermont, USA just across the border from Quebec, CA - Aidan's sphere of professional Ops. It is the end of March and Cerby's second Maple Crest Maple Syrup harvest is in progress with all but one member-couple of the Alaerton Alumni in attendance for the first time to celebrate with them and to compete in the group's long proposed friendly-fishing tournament. A 'sticky situation' develops however, for BFF Lady Saffira Hatton-Blythwood and Cerby while the rest of the Cavaliers are left to the sweet and sour ramifications.
