Dr. LaRaine Taylor's book is an examination of the work of the Holy Spirit, His purpose and guiding of the church, which empowers the believer to commit to Christian leadership and Kingdom building in this earth realm. God's standard of holiness was established for the people of God to govern themselves as the chosen nation that God has set them apart to be - His people. God commands the children of Israel (Leviticus 11:44,46) to be different from others. He instructed them to sanctify themselves and be holy. Not perfect ... set apart. His directions are for those who lay claim to Him to govern themselves after the standards that He had asked them to live by, specifically to be distinguished by belonging to Him. It is to this calling that every believer must hold fast, but especially those who occupy positions of leadership in the Body of Christ.
