For the Christian there is no event more important than the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, the cost that Christ and God paid for this was more than we can ever know. The poems in this collection will help us remember this event and helps us to remember the cost that was paid for our salvation.The author, Richard I. Gold, has been a Christian and church member for many years. For the past 20 years he has written a number of poems, many with a Christian theme are included in this collection.Gold was born in Bartow, Florida. He attended college at the University of South Florida in Tampa and the University of Alabama Huntsville Campus. His major was in Physics. He has been married for over 50 years and has two children and three grandchildren. His mother was a poet and inspired him to write poems.
