    Dans la trilogie romanesque des Sainte-Hermine, Les Blancs et les Bleus précède, selon la stricte chronologie historique, Les Compagnons de Jéhu et Le Chevalier de Sainte-Hermine – le grand roman de Dumas perdu et retrouvé en 2005… cent trente-six ans après sa première parution en feuilleton dans la presse.
