Simone Beck

    Simone Beck, known as Simca, was a French cookbook author and cooking teacher. Alongside colleagues Julia Child and Louisette Bertholle, she played a significant role in introducing French cooking techniques and recipes into American kitchens. Her work helped to democratize sophisticated French cuisine for home cooks. Beck was a pioneer in culinary literature, and her influence is still felt today.
