Horst Fuhrmann

    June 22, 1926 – September 9, 2011

    A German historian who specialized in medieval canon law and Church history. Following his military service, which included a period as a prisoner of war, he worked for Monumenta Germaniae Historica in the mid-1950s. Subsequently, he held a series of teaching posts at Kiel, Tübingen, and Regensburg.
