Clara Zetkin was a German Marxist theorist, activist, and advocate for women's rights. Her work focused on connecting the class struggle with the fight for women's emancipation. Zetkin consistently criticized bourgeois feminism, instead championing a socialist solution for women's liberation. She was long active in the social democratic party before becoming a key figure in the communist movement, where she also held political office.
